Maralee Coburger

84 year old, Maralee Coburger of Wheatfield, passed away on July 27, 2011 at her home. She was born to Elmore and Mary (nee: Marvel) Ashcraft on July 16, 1927 in East Chicago, Indiana.

Maralee looked forward to the beginning of camping season each year, where she enjoyed fellow campers coming to play dominoes or card games on her front porch. She was generous with her resources and helped others when they had nowhere else to turn. She was a great cook, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Although she will be greatly missed by so many, Jesus called her home to join him for eternity.

Maralee had two loving, devoted husbands that preceded her: Benny Grzych and John Coburger, and a daughter Kathy Grzych. Surviving children: Steve Grzych, Linda (Doug) Edgerton, Berni (Gary) Kocan, Rick (Jennifer) Grzych, Dennis (Lynda) Grzych, Paul Grzych,  and step-son: David Coburger, 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, and brothers: Dean (Judy) Ashcraft and Glen (Evelyn) Ashcraft and sister: Diane Richeid.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2011, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Maralee will take place on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Chaplain Marjorie Egger officiating. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, in DeMotte
