Lorraine Brown

Lorraine Brown, age 73, a resident of Lillian, Alabama formerly of Wheatfield, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015 at her home.

On March 27, 1942, Lorraine was born to Seldon and Sarah (Messer) Bailey in Kentucky. Lorraine enjoyed being a homemaker and mother to their two children: Gwen and Gregory.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 55 years, Don I. Brown of Lillian, Ala.; one daughter, Gwen (Mike) Black, one son, Gregory (Lynn) Brown; three sisters, Faye House, Fredia Lawyer, Edith Hampton; brother, Haskel Bailey; three grandchildren, Ian Brown, Cody Black and Maegan Black; many other relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Graveside services will take place at the Wheatfield Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 with Pastor Ken Patrick officiating.
