Lorena Bailey

87 year old, Lorena Bailey passed away June 21, 2015 with her loving family around her.

On August 26, 1927, in Decoy, Kentucky, Lorena was born to Kelly and Verdie (Smith) Stone. Lorena worked at St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer as a Maintenance Engineer and retired in 1989.  She was a member of the United Baptist Church of Gilliam Township.

Lorena is survived by her children:

Josephine (Danny) Denton,

Kenneth (Denise) Bailey,

Sandra (Danny) Harris,

Vivian (Gorden) Marlin,

Marlene (Bob) Bellemey,

18 grandchildren, and

many great-grandchildren,

Lorena was preceded in death by:

Her husband:  Clifford Bailey in 2006

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (CST) on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Lorena will take place at 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the United Baptist Church of Gilliam Township. Interment will follow in the Independence Cemetery.
