Lillian Grube

88 year old, Lillian E. Grube, of Wheatfield, passed away June 22, 2007 at the VNA Hospice Center of Valparaiso, Indiana.

On September 8, 1918, Lillian was born to Clarence L. and Estella E. (nee: Heil) Gulbransen in Wheatfield, Indiana. She married Frank Grube on January 17, 1941, who preceded her in death.

Lillian was a registered nurse for several doctor’s offices and different hospitals throughout her nursing career.

Surviving relatives include children: Frank & Ellen Grube, Rita Grube, Grandchildren: 8

Great-grandchildren:  13

Sister: Erma Brown

Nieces & Nephew: Ruth Boersma, Holly Shaw, Estel Griggs & Rick Haring

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Frank, sons Clarence, Joseph, & John, sisters: Vada Williams and Nina Geraci.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M., at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church with Father Alejandro Paternoster officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Cemetery, per Lillian’s wishes she will be cremated.
