Larry G Cooley

85 year old, Larry G. Cooley, of Wheatfield, passed away August 22, 2023.

On June 14, 1938, Larry was born to Samuel S. Cooley and Ada Marie (Estes) Cooley, in Vincennes, Indiana. Larry attended Westville schools, then worked at LTV Steel as a supervisor until he retired, then he worked at Myers Property Management. Larry married Gloria Metcalf on January 4, 1957 in Knox, Indiana, (she preceded him), he then married Marcie Klemp, on October 7, 2022. Larry enjoyed Traveling, fishing, camping, doing carpentry, yard work, caring for critters, and football.

Larry is survived by his wife: Marcie, children: Larry G. (Patti) Cooley Jr., Todd Cooley, Tina (Tim) Kearney, Vonnie (Bob) Baranko, Jackie (Pat) Campbell, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Floyd, Thomas, Oliver, Merle, Charles, Roslyn, Kenneth, Lois, Phyllis, & Ronald, andgreat-grandson: Jacob Cooley.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, August 25, 2023. Services for Larry will take place at the funeral home on Friday, at 12:00 noon, with Pastor David Patterson officiating, a Masonic Lodge Service will follow.

Interment will take place at the Cemetery of the Resurrection, in DeMotte, Indiana.
