Kristine Martin

49 year old, Kristine Martin of Wheatfield, passed away November 7, 2016 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

On December 18, 1966, in Valparaiso, Indiana Kristine was born to Clifford and Donna (Martin) Martin. Kristine graduated from Boone Grove High School in 1985. She was a lifetime area resident. She worked as an Assistant Manager at Save-a-Lot in Kouts. 

Kristine was (in her own words) fun-loving, happy-go-lucky, non-drinker, hardworking, ethical, moral, non-drug user, believer, trustworthy, friendly, outgoing, scatterbrained, silly & humorous girl.

Kristine is survived by her loving family: parents: Clifford & Donna Martin, children: David VanBlaircom and Charr VanBlaircom, special friend: Michael ‘Big Daddy’ Brown, brothers: Russell (Stacie) Martin and John (Valerie) Martin.

Kristine was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Kristine will take place at the funeral home following the visitation at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Donald Gear officiating.

Interment at Locust Grove Cemetery will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
