Kimberly Ann Tague, 55 of DeMotte, Indiana passed away Sunday afternoon, February 2, 2025, surrounded by her family, at the Franciscan Health Hospital in Crown Point, Indiana. Kim was a 1987 graduate of Hebron High school. She was a stay home mother to her seven children. Kim enjoyed homemaking, gardening, stained glass work and loved spending time with her eight grandchildren.
Kim was born on April 17, 1969, in Hammond, Indiana, a daughter of Stanley B. and Donna Jean (Hillegonds) Powell.
She was united in marriage to Russell M. Tague III on September 9, 1989. Rusty survives.
Additional survivors include: her seven children: Hope (Matthew) Campbell of North Judson, Indiana, Kiara Tague of DeMotte, Indiana, Morgan (Jacob) Long of Rensselaer, Indiana, Sydneigh (Corbin) Lantzer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Devan Tague of Valparaiso, Indiana, Paul Tague of DeMotte, Indiana and Lucianna Tague of DeMotte, Indiana; Her parents: Stanley Powell of Okeechobee, Florida and Donna Powell of Hebron, IN; Two brothers: Mark Wiley of Schererville, Indiana and Paul Powell of Hebron, Indiana and three sisters: Holly Fennell of Terre Haute, Indiana, Jacqueline Powell of Crossville, Tennessee and Carlye Crane of DeMotte, Indiana; eight grandchildren: Ayden Campbell, Avery Campbell, Adeleigh Campbell, Ainslee Campbell, Annistyn Campbell, Edward Long, Kingston Long and Charlotte Long.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., Central time (12:00 p.m. Eastern time) at the Hebron Christian Church, 202 E. Sigler St., Hebron, Indiana 46341.
Memorial Contributions can be made out to the Markle Church of Christ and can be sent in care to the Markle Church of Christ, P.O. Box 609, Markle, Indiana 46770.
