Kenneth Barney Dunn

82 year old, Kenneth ‘Barney’ Dunn of Wheatfield passed away July 11, 2002.

On November 8, 1919, Barney was born to Frank and Eva (Wesner) Dunn in Gifford, Indiana. Barney married Carol Bowen on July 29, 1949 in Rensselaer, Indiana. He worked as farmer, carpenter, welder, Deputy Sheriff for Don McCarken. Barney also served in WW II.

Barney is survived by his wife: Carol, sisters: Erma Robinson and Vera Bandcroft.

Barney was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers: Frank, Dick and Bill Dunn.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday July 14, 2002 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (7:00 p.m. Legion Service) at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Barney will take place on Monday, July 15, 2002 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Roger Sculley officiating. Interment will take place in the Wheatfield Cemetery with Military Graveside Services.
