Katherine Shepherd

75 year old, Katherine Shepherd, of Francesville, passed away January 29, 2022.

On May 11, 1946, Katherine was born to John and Mary Ann (Bolen) Grigsby in Quicksand, Kentucky. Katherine was a CNA, and worked at Rose Acre Farms. She enjoyed quilting, canning and fishing.

Katherine is survived by her loving family: children: David (Dee) Cornett, Donna Cornett, & Kristie Beckner, grandchildren: David, Melissa, Mae, Katherine Cornett, Moriah Beckner, great-grandchildren: David, William Cornett, and Hunter Hancock, brothers: Delmer, Elmer, Gorth, Clinton, Grigsby, sisters: Linda, Mary Lou, Jean, Betty Jo, and Eveline.

Katherine was preceded in death by her husbands: Ben Cornett & Floyd Shepherd, parents, 2 brothers: Logan and Lee.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Katherine will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Johnny Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Independence Cemetery.
