Karen Reese

64 year old, Karen Reese, of Rensselaer, passed away May 27, 2024, with her loving family around her.

On September 25, 1959, in Mineral Wells, Texas, Karen was born to Lee and Marie (Tiede) Whitaker. Karen graduated from high school. Karen married the love of her life, Daniel Reese, on December 17, 1982 at Bailey Corner Church. She enjoyed traveling, rafting, and shopping.

Karen is survived by her loving family: husband: Daniel, children: Sabrina Reese (Bill Welcher), Brandon (Heather) Reese, Daniel Reese, 2 grandchildren: Elizabeth Reese, Louden Reese, and sister: Cris Kors.

Karen was preceded in death by her: parents.

Per Karen’s wishes cremation will take place.

A graveside service for Karen will be held at 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Independence Cemetery, Medaryville, Indiana. A Celebration of Life for Karen will be held from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. (CST) on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at her son Brandon’s home, 13917 W. 400 N., Medaryville, Indiana, 47957.
