Julie O'Neill

54 year old, Julie A. O’Neill, passed away July 26, 2021, peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Julie was born to David and Paula (Messer) Abbring, on June 13, 1967 in Rensselaer, Indiana. She was a graduate of Kankakee Valley High School class of 1985. Julie was a dispatcher/transportation specialist for Ruan Transportation for 10 years. She liked to vacation in Florida and collect t-shirts.

Julie is survived by her children: Ray O’Neill and Rachel O’Neill, parents: David & Paula Abbring, 4 grandchildren, siblings: Shavonne Abbring and Davonne Abbring, numerous aunts & uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.

Julie was preceded in death by her grandparents: Equilla & Raymond Messer, and Charles & Alma Abbring.

Memorial Services will take place on August 14, 2021, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Wheatfield American Legion Post 406.

The family is requesting that those who attend wear purple and bring a picture of Julie and themselves.
