Joseph Misch

66 year old, Joseph Misch of Wheatfield, passed away at his home on December 4, 2018.

On December 29, 1951, Joe was born to Joseph J. and Geneva (Wood) Misch in Valparaiso, Indiana. Joe married the love of his life, Genny Koselke on June 30, 1973. Joe was a Boy Scout Troop #160 leader, a member of REMC Board, Holy Name Society, and Sorrowful Mother Dart-ball Team.

Joe is survived by his loving family: wife: Genny, children: Timothy (Alina) Misch, Kristine (Mike) Smith, Jeffrey (Samantha) Misch, seven grandchildren: Bailey Wiltfang, Lilly Misch, Logan Smith, Finn Smith, Henry Misch, Adam Misch, and Walter Misch. He is also survived by his sister: Mary Ann (James) Gast, and many nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph J. and Geneva, infant son: Drew Misch, and beloved granddaughter: Kiley Smith. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. A 2:00 p.m. Rosary Service will take place on Sunday, December 9, 2018. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church, Wheatfield, Indiana. Interment will follow at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Cemetery.
