John Norris

70 year old, John Norris of Rensselaer, passed away January 15, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center with his loving family around him.

On March 22, 1944, John was born to Elmer and Gertrude (French) Norris in Ludington, Michigan. John served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He married the love of his life, Audrey Potter on December 6, 1969, in Hammond, Indiana. After serving in the Army, John worked for AT&T as a technician for 39 years. John was a member of the Wheatfield Church of Christ, and served as an Elder.

John is survived by his loving family: wife: Audrey, children: Randy (Lesli) Norris, Andy (Sarah) Norris, Hal (Jennifer) Norris, Jodi (Bill) Thomas, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters: Gladys Sue Loveland, and Janice (Paul) Arms.

John was preceded in death by his parents: Elmer and Gertrude Norris.

Per John’s wishes he will be cremated.

Friends may visit with the family at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Wheatfield Church of Christ, Wheatfield, Indiana.
