81 year old, John ‘Jack’ L. DeMoss of Wheatfield passed away November 16, 2012 in Rensselaer, Indiana.
On September 4, 1931, Jack was born to Louis and Jessie (nee: Daniels) DeMoss in Rensselaer, Indiana. Jack graduated from Fair Oaks Schools. On July 29, 1950, he married the love of his life: Naomi Conley in Rensselaer, Indiana. Jack farmed, was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150 District 7 for 44 years and loved his hobbies of: golfing, bowling, camping, playing cards with friends, and spending time with family. He attended Amazing Grace Fellowship at Francesville.
Jack is survived by his loving wife: Naomi, children: Steven (Gina) DeMoss, Larry (Teresa) DeMoss, Kathryn (Victor) Rodriguez, Jim (Pam) DeMoss, Charles (Colleen) DeMoss, Lila (Tom) Fritz, Marcus (Sharon) DeMoss, Diane (Alvin) Hansen, 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Alice Dobson, Christine Gilbert, Janice Sell, and Cecil ‘Buck’ (Deana) DeMoss.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents: Louis & Jessie DeMoss, and siblings: Mildred, Peggy, Ethel, Larry, Delores and Richard.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (CST) at the Calvery Assembly of God Church in DeMotte. Services for Jack will take place on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. (CST) at the Calvery Assembly of God Church in DeMotte, with Pastor Jerry Scitern officiating. Interment will take place at the Independence Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to Amazing Grace Fellowship Building Fund.
