Joan M. Conrad

81 year old, Joan M. Conrad of Rensselaer, formerly of DeMotte, passed away July 19, 2013.

On February 13, 1932, Joan was born to George and Elizabeth H (nee: Doodeman) McAndrew in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Joan graduated from DeMotte High School and worked as a clerk at the Super Market.

Joan is survived by her children: Alan (Donna) Conrad, Nancy Hughes, Susan (Melvin) Bozell and stepdaughter: Sharon (Chris) Cardenas and 6 grandchildren, 1 brother: Peter C. Boer.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Mary Grace and grandchild: Christopher Cardenas.

Per Joan’s wishes a graveside service will take place on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cemetery of Resurrection, DeMotte, Indiana with Father Paul Cochran officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to VNA Hospice.

Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
