Jesse Jo Smith

78 year old, Jessie ‘Jo’ Smith of Wheatfield, passed away July 25, 2018 at VNA Hospice.

On July 18, 1940, in Boatland, Tennessee, Jo was born to Floyd and Bertha (Hammonds) Warden. Jo went to visit a friend and fell madly in love with George Smith whom she wed on July 11, 1959, in Crown Point, Indiana. Jo worked for Levolor Blind Company for over 12 years.

Jessie ‘Jo’ is survived by her loving family: husband: George, children: Greg (Deborah Hayes) Smith, Darrell (Connie) Smith, Michelle Smith.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers, and 2 sisters.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your local animal shelter or the ASPCA.

Per her wishes cremation will take place.
