Jesse Hough Jr.

91 year old, Jesse J. Hough Jr., of Medaryville, passed away May 12, 2023, at his home with his loving family around him.

On March 9, 1932, Jesse was born to Jesse Sr. and Viola (Scholtes) Hough in Hammond, Indiana. Jesse graduated from Hammond Tech class of 1952. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He then worked for Inland Steel as an electrician. He married the love of his life, Constance “Connie” (Dec) Snow on July 12, 1983, in Greensboro, North Carolina. Jesse was a member of the American Legion in Griffith, VFW in Dyer, and the Eagles in Winamac. At one time Jesse played horseshoes, and was ranked 13^th in the world.

Jesse is survived by his family: wife: Connie, children: Phillip (Holly) Hough, Marvin (Suzanne Lemen) Hough, Robin Brown (& Lou), Jamie (Ted) Brinkman, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Evelyn Skaggs and Mary Ellen (Harold) Snyder, and brother: Charles (Rena) Gregory.

Per Jesse’s wishes cremation will take place, and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
