Jerry Beiswanger

75 year old, Jerry Beiswanger of Medaryville passed away March 30, 2017 at his home with his loving family around him.

On November 9, 1941 in Francesville, Indiana, Jerry was born to Lawrence and Veleeta (Stiller) Beiswanger. Jerry was a lifetime area resident who graduated from Medaryville High School. On September 26, 1964 in Medaryville, Jerry married the love of his life, Sandra Schultz. Jerry worked for Ford Motor Stamping in East Chicago, Indiana. Jerry loved collecting old lanterns, to hang out in his garage and tinker around, and to read & do puzzles. He loved his wife, children & grandchildren very much.

Jerry is survived by his family, wife: Sandra, daughters: Stephanie (Gary) Culp and Cathy (Bob) Elston, 5 grandchildren: Carlie, Nick, & Kirstin Elston and Jordan & Katie Culp, and 1 great-granddaughter: Ava May Garlach, siblings: Bonnie (Lester) Koebcke, Judy (Don) Tanner, and Connie Beiswanger.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. (EST) on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Medaryville Christian Church. Services for Jerry will take place at the church at 3:00 p.m. (EST) with Pastor Don Nedza officiating.

Per Jerry’s wishes cremation will follow and interment at the Roseland Cemetery will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Medaryville Christian Church.
