Jeremy M. Peterson

37 year old Jeremy ‘Detroit’ Peterson, of Morocco, passed away November 16, 2023.

On January 29, 1986 Jeremy was born to Wayne and Holly Peterson in Crown Point, Indiana.  He graduated from Hanover Central and attended Ball State University.  He worked for US Steel. Jeremy liked to ride and work on motorcycles.  He was very outgoing and enjoyed making people laugh.  He was a 10-year member of the Invaders MC.

Jeremy is survived by his father: Wayne ‘Igor’ Peterson, girlfriend: Amanda Garbison, and their children: Tyler Maldonado & Taylor Peterson, brother: Devin (Nicole) Peterson, their children Kaylee, Brianna, Kyle & Blake Peterson, brother: Daniel (Jessica) Gasaway, their children: Austin, Alexis & Arika Gasaway, sister: Renae (Sal) Cintron and his Invader MC Brothers.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother: Holly Peterson and brother: Joshua Johnson.

Per Jeremy's wishes cremation will take place.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.  Services for Jeremy will take place at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested for his daughter: Taylor.

Interment will take place at the Maplewood Cemetery, Crown Point, Indiana in the spring.  Date to be announced at a later time.
