Jennie L Cooper

79 year old, Jennie L. Cooper, of Valparaiso, passed away on February 19, 2025, with her loving family around her.

On August 19, 1945, Jennie was born to Wilfred and Jeanetta (Armstrong) Tuttle, in Rensselaer, Indiana. Jennie graduated from Mr. Ayre High School, class of 1963. She married the love of her life, Paul Cooper, on February 25, 1963, in Lowell, Indiana. Jennie was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Hebron. She enjoyed gardening and crochet. Jennie was happiest in life when taking care of her grandchildren.

Jennie is survived by her children: Paula (Mike) Lintner, James (Shannon) Cooper, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and sister: Thelma Edwards.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Paul Cooper, and sons: John Cooper, and Howard Cooper.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana, 46392. Services for Jennie will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will happen at the Roselawn Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
