Jeannette L Hendricks

69 year old, Jeannette L. Hendricks, of Wheatfield, passed away April 25, 2023.

On July 3, 1953, Jeannette was born in Hammond, Indiana to James and Shirley (Rowe) Lambert. She graduated from Lake Central High School, and received her RN degree from Purdue University.  She married the love of her life Ronald Hendricks on November 8, 1975, in Schererville, Indiana. Jeanette worked as a cardiac care nurse from 1973 until starting work at K.V. School System as the corporation nurse where she worked until 1996. She enjoyed playing the banjo and ukulele. She also like to garden and lately she especially enjoyed antique auto hill climbing.

Jeannette is survived by her loving family: husband: Ron, and daughter: Jennifer Hendricks, siblings: Jackie Brite, Cheryl Tillery, and James (Joyce) Lambert.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Timothy Lambert, and nephew: Jason Lambert.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church, Wheatfield, with Father Michael McKinney officiating. Interment will follow at the Sorrowful Mother Catholic Cemetery.
