Jasper C. 'CJ' Messer

77 year old, Jasper C. ‘J C’ Messer of Francesville, passed away July 14, 2012.

On February 3, 1935 in Knott County Kentucky, Jasper was born to Kelley and Bertha (Shephard) Messer. On July 21, 1956, J C married Norma Whitaker. J C was a construction worker with the Local 81 for 20 years.

J C, is survived by his wife: Norma, children: Kevin Messer, Rex (Sandra) Messer and Shelley (Rodney) Patton, 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, siblings: Grover Messer, Paul Messer, Holley Messer, and Mary Lane.

J C was preceded in death by: his parents, siblings: Hazel Ritchie, Therman Messer, Rudolph Messer, Hershel Messer, Jewel Owens, Opal Wallace, and Inez Hale.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m (CST) on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for J C will take place at 9:00 a.m. (CST) on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 with Rev. James Rowe officiating at the Goodway Baptist Church, Medaryville. Interment will take place at Independence Cemetery.
