James Watson

85 year old, James Watson of Medaryville, formerly of Wheatfield, passed away May 17, 2012 at his home with his loving family around him.

James was born on April 6, 1927, in Boone Grove, Indiana, to LeRoy and Elda (nee: Pullins) Watson. On January 25, 1948, James married the love of his life, Inez in Medaryville, Indiana. James is a retired steel worker and farmer. He loved to quilt along with his wife Inez.

James is survived by his children: Roy & Linda Watson, Emily & James Thomas, Robert Watson, James & Brenda Watson, 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. James is also survived by his siblings: Ruth & Frank Tanner, Alice Clayton, William Watson and Ben & Linda Watson.

James is preceded by his loving wife Inez, his parents, one son Roger and four brothers.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (CST) at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for James will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. (CST) at the Medaryville Christian Church, with Pastor Don Nedza officiating. James will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will follow at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
