Ina Rae Morrison

82 year old, Ina R. Morrison, of Wheatfield formerly of Lake Village, passed away August 10, 2023, with her loving family around her.

On February 20, 1941, Ina was born to Louis and Ann (Kollada) Palmer, in Hammond, Indiana. She married the love of her life, Kim Morrison, on June 30, 1961, in Kankakee, Illinois. First and foremost, she was a dedicated servant to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Ina was a self-employed beautician, became a mother and raised 4 children, and was very active in Boy Scouts, and in her later years worked in a medical office. She loved to crochet, and spend time with her grandchildren. She was actively studying the word of God. She liked to play Bunco, do puzzles and word searches.

Ina is survived by her loving family: children: Roxanne (Trevor) Marshall, Christina (Christopher) Smock, Joseph (Jennifer) Morrison, Leslie Morrison, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and brother: Kenneth Palmer.

Ina was preceded in death by her husband: Kim, parents: Louis & Ann, an infant child, siblings: David Palmer, Alvin Palmer, Katherine Patrick, and Laverne Simmons.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jasper County Veteran’s Council.
