Helen Ruth Banks

80 year old, Helen Ruth Banks of Francesville, formerly of Wheatfield, passed away September 15, 2011.

Helen was born on March 12, 1931 to Leonard and Dollie (nee: Carty) Stepp in New Boston, Ohio. On October 25, 1947 Helen married Prentis Banks Sr. Helen worked for Kankakee Valley School’s in the Food Service division.

Helen is survived by her sons Terry (Suellen) Banks and Larry ‘Joe’ Banks, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren, sister: Phyllis Jungles and brother: Leonard Stepp Jr.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Prentis Banks Sr., two sons: Jerry and Prentis Jr, one great-grandson: Jacob Paris, daughter-in-law: Donna Banks, two brothers, two sisters, and second husband: Mike Rowe.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, September 19, 2011 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.

Services for Helen will take place on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home with Pastor Elmer Conley officiating. Interment will take place at the Highland Cemetery in North Judson, Indiana.
