73 year old, Gaylon D. ‘Buddy’ Stoker, of Wheatfield, passed away June 25, 2015. Gaylon was born on October 10, 1941 to Ellis and Ollie (Thomas) Stoker in Center, Texas. Gaylon married Janice Jungkunz on February 5, 1971 in Virginia. Gaylon served in the U.S. Army until his discharge in 1965, then he worked as a Welder for Boilermakers Local #374. He retired in 2002. Gaylon was a member of the American Legion in Medaryville.
Gaylon is survived by his children: Christopher (Aimee) Stoker, Lynn (Jay) Hutchinson, Debra (Don) Dillabaugh, 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Gaylon was preceded in death by his wife: Janice, son: Thomas Davis, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and 1 grandchild: Kylie Michelle.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2015, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Funeral Services will take place at the funeral home on Monday, at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Rodney Tolleson officiating. Per Gaylon’s wishes cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
