Georgia Gose

Georgia Gose, age 79, of Liberty Township, Ohio; formerly a resident of Valparaiso, Indiana, peacefully passed away at home on February 19, 2022.

Georgia was born in Gary, Indiana on August 17, 1942. She grew up in Northwest Indiana and Southern Florida. Her passions included water skiing and the ocean itself. She was a member of the American Institute of Banking and was a graduate of Lew Wallace High School class of 1960.  Georgia was employed with US Steel, Gary National Bank, several mortgage lending companies and finally Wal-mart after her retirement. She was preceded in death by her father, George Olebos and mother, Stella Olebos. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children Terry Gose of Wheatfield, Indiana and twin daughters Tammy Werner and Tracy Cole of Liberty Township, Ohio, sister Gwen Vernich of Valparaiso, Indiana, and brother Noel Olebos of Conifer, Colorado, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, February 26th, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana.
