Geneva Jefferson

76 year old, Geneva Jefferson, of Wheatfield, passed away August 4, 2022.

Geneva was born on January 10, 1946, to Bryan and Rose (Bailey) Clemons in Gillam Township, Jasper County, Indiana. She married the love of her life, Earl Jefferson, in April of 1964 at the DeMotte United Methodist Church. Geneva was a factory worker, for Monon Trailer, she was also a caregiver, and a C.N.A. at the Care Center. She liked to garden, and harvest the fruits of her labor. She liked doing crafts, and loved taking care of her family.

Geneva is survived by her children: Tammy ‘TJ’ Brown, Edward ‘Ed’ Jefferson, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Virgie (Bud) Curtis, Ruby Messer, and Susie Kabela.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Earl,  sister: Alma, brothers: Burnie, Earnest, Forrest, and Carson, 2 infant sisters, and son-in-law: John Brown.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Geneva will take place at the funeral home on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug Griffith officiating.

Graveside services will take place at the Highland Cemetery, North Judson, Indiana on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
