Gene 'Rudy' Randolph

76 year old, Gene ‘Rudy’ Randolph of Rensselaer, passed away September 24, 2020, at his home with his loving family around him.

Rudy was born on August 1, 1944, to Elton and Betty (Kamos) Randolph in Rensselaer, Indiana. He graduated from Rensselaer High School, and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy. He was a truck driver by trade working for Hopkins Trucking for a while. Rudy liked to bowl and watch NASCAR.

Rudy is survived by his children: David (Angela) Randolph, Daniel (Heather Daugherty) Randolph, Tracy (Vito) Minix, Jason (Amy) Randolph, Nicholas Randolph, 19 grandchildren, and 14 + 1 great-grandchildren, siblings: Gayle (Ron) Anderson, Renee Kimmel, Lori (Danny) Coffin.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, the love of his life: Janet Randolph,  brother: Bill Randolph, and sister: Sherry Dawson-Coppinger

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Rudy will take place at the funeral home on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with Ernie Randolph officiating, interment will follow at the Fair Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be made to the family.
