Gary F. Chalifoux

66 year old, Gary F. Chalifoux, passed away January 12, 2010, at his home.

On April 21, 1943, Gary was born to Fred and Julia (nee: Glavin) Chalifoux in Hammond, Indiana. Gary graduated from Tech High School. Gary was in the Navy, and a member of American Legion Post 96 Medaryville.

Gary is survived by his special friend, Kim Pirtie, and children, Gary (Jane) Chalifoux, Pat (Rendy) Chalifoux, Tony Chalifoux, Laisha (John) Eastwood, and Eric Pirtie and 5 grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 sisters, Loretta Clark Claudette Kingma, Benet (Danny) Heath, and 2 brothers, Joe (Rocky) Chalifoux and Chuck (Debbie) Chalifoux.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Christina Chalifoux and 2 brothers, Thomas Chalifoux and Fred Chalifoux Jr.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, January 15, 2010, at 4:00 until 8:00 (CST) p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. A time of memories and friendship will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2010. Interment will take place at a later date.
