Fred H Etnire

72 year old, Fred H. Etnire, of Wheatfield, passed away on March 26, 2025, at his home with his loving family around him.

On July 20, 1952, Fred was born to Medford and Winifred (Foster) Etnire in Hammond, Indiana. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and served from 1972 until 1975. Fred married the love of his life, Gloria Skinner, on June 7, 1980, in Highland, Indiana. He was a pipe fitting supervisor who worked for BP Oil Refinery. Fred enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks. He liked to go camping and travelling with his family. Fred loved to sing, with his own Elvis getup.

Fred is survived by his loving wife: Gloria, children: Matthew (Laura) Etnire, Kaci (Dan) Rocha, Vaughn (Rhonda) Bielefeldt, grandchildren: Jonah Rocha, Molly Rocha, and his beloved fur baby: Elvis.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Fred’s wishes cremation will take place.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
