88 year old, Frankie Lee Alexander, of DeMotte / Winamac, passed away September 3, 2022 at Hickory Creek of Winamac, with his loving family around him.
On March 21, 1934, Frankie was born to Jesse and Florence (Holmes) Alexander in Diamond, Kentucky. Frankie worked as a Crane Operator for U.S. Steel where he retired from. He was a member of Graceway Bible Baptist Church, of DeMotte.
Frankie is survived by his daughters: Lorena ‘Holly’ (Steve) Van Der Aa, Beth McKee and special friend: Phil Jensen, grandchildren: Nathan Van Der Aa, Scott (Melisa) Van Der Aa, Andrew Green, Joseph Alexander, Frank Alexander, Marshall Alexander, Shelby Alexander, great-grandchildren: Mariana Van Der Aa, Catherine Van Der Aa, and Sara Van Der Aa, Austin Van Der Aa (special friend: Ashlen McMillen), Trystan (Savannah) Van Der Aa.
Frankie was preceded in death by his wife: Doris, son: Jeffrey Alexander, son-in-law: Dan McKee.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. CST. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Graceway Bible Baptist Church. Services for Frankie will take place at the church at 11:00 a.m. CST with Pastor Caleb Hon officiating. Interment will take place at the Winamac Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested for Graceway Bible Baptist Church or the Gideons International.
