94 year old, Forrest R. Miller, of Rensselaer, passed away October 14, 2021.
On June 14, 1927, Forrest was born to Chester and Sally (Joseph) Miller, in Royalton, Kentucky. Forrest served in the U.S. Army for a time in Germany. He was a self-employed truck driver. Forrest really liked to work on lawn mowers, small engines, and bicycles. He enjoyed stock car races too.
Forrest is survived his family, children: Forrest ‘Ray’ (Tammy) Miller, Roberta ‘Lynn’ (Norm) Creekmur, Kenny (Terri) Miller, Duke Jackson, Mac (Linda) Howard, Celia ‘Pat’ (Bill) Hershman, Mary ‘Peach’ Arnett, several grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, some great-great-grandchildren, sister: Phyllis Allen.
Forrest was preceded in death by his parents, wives; Maxine (Manns) and Betty (Brown), siblings: Juanita Huff, Vernita Whitaker, Alice Barnett, Nora Whitaker, 3 grandsons: Russell Hershman, Tracy Jarrett, Bruce Howard, step-son: Dusty Howard.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church of God, Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Forrest will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening with Pastor Doug Griffith officiating, along with Military Honors at the church. Graveside services for Forrest will take place at Wheatfield Cemetery on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Doug Griffith officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Old Soldier’s Home in Lafayette, Indiana
