Floyd F. Marcum

67 year old, Floyd F. Marcum of Medaryville, passed away April 4, 2017 with his loving family around him.

Floyd was born on January 2, 1950 to Golden and Gertrude (Mitchel) Marcum in Williamson, West Virginia. Floyd married the love of his life, Rita Cochran on November 11, 1968 in Goodman, West Virginia. Floyd worked for LTV – ArcelorMittal Steel and was a member of Local 1011. Floyd loved his family, friends, and hunting & fishing.

Floyd is survived by his wife: Rita, daughters: Lori (Ron) McIlvain, Jennifer (Ron) Barlow, & Lisa (Andy) Coldiron, 9 grandchildren: Quinton (Alyssa) McIlvain, Wyatt McIlvain, Griffin McIlvain, Shelby McIlvain, Sidney McIlvain, Trace McIlvain, Ariel Barlow, Adriana Barlow, & Cooper Coldiron, sisters: Patty (David) Chafin, Pam Dixon, Edie McCoy, & Rebecca (Larry) Johnson, brothers: Kenneth (Kim) Marcum, David (Vickie) Marcum, & John (Melissa) Marcum.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (EST) on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Floyd will take place at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. (EST) on Friday, April 7, 2017. Graveside services will take place at 10:00 a.m. (EST) at White Post Cemetery on April 8, 2017.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made the family.
