65 year old, Floyd Harvey Logsdon, of Thayer passed away July 28, 2009.

On March 31, 1944, Floyd Harvey was born to Floyd W. and Mary Thelma (nee: Spitler) Logsdon in Rensselaer, Indiana. He graduated from Mt. Ayr High School in 1962. Floyd married Linda Junglas on January 17, 1970. He worked for Farm Bureau Co-op for 31 years, driving sprayer trucks, feed trucks, LP gas trucks, and many other jobs for the company that he enjoyed. Harvey enjoyed visiting with people. Harvey retired 10 years ago from Farm Bureau Co-op.

Floyd is survived by his loving wife: Linda, 2 sons: Brien (Christel) Logsdon and Byron (Angela) Logsdon, and 4 grandchildren: Jared, Austin, Tyler and Noah Jacob. He is also survived by 4 sisters: Arlene Madison, Ordetta Woudema, Donna (Art) Lageveen, & Patricia (Jack) Buckley.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister Florence Burkholder.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2009, at the Boersma Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the Burr Oak Mennonite Church in Rensselaer, with Pastor Philip Leichty. Interment will take place at the Roselawn Cemetery.
