Emma Jean Lovely

87 year old, Emma Jean Lovely, of Rensselaer, passed away February 21, 2020 at her home.

On March 4, 1932, Emma was born to Jim and Sallie (Wireman) Wireman in Salyersville, Kentucky. On May 12, 1951, Emma married the love of her life, Charles Lovely. Emma worked at Sealy Spring for 32 years, and enjoyed raising their children. She loved gardening and working in her beautiful flowerbeds. She loved to cook and cook for others. You would not leave her house hungry. Emma Jean doted on her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild, they were her world. This wonderful mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend will be greatly missed.

Emma is survived by her children: Janet Lovely (Russell Patton), Charles Lovely, Thomas (Kathy) Lovely, and 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and brother: Melvin (Betty) Wireman, and brother-in-law: Mitchell Lovely.

Emma was preceded in death by: her parents, husband: Charles, great-grandson: Christopher McCorkel, and 6 sisters, and 5 brothers.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield. Services for Emma will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 with Thurman Stone officiating. Interment will follow at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
