Emma Goodwin

89 year old Flora “Emma” Goodwin of Rensselaer formerly of Wheatfield passed away on October 8, 2013. Emma was born in Salyersville, Kentucky on April 27 1924 to Pete and Polly (nee: Peck) Wright. Emma married Edward Goodwin and they lived in Wheatfield with their dog Snowball. Emma enjoyed keeping a neat home and cooking for Ed. Emma was the last of 8 children.

Emma is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Emma was preceded by her husband: Ed Goodwin, daughter: Francis, parents: Pete & Polly Wright, six brothers, and one sister.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Emma will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
