Elisabeth Cavinder

90 year old, Elizabeth Cavinder of Wheatfield, passed away September 1, 2009.

On October 19, 1918, Elizabeth was born to Louie and Catherine (nee: Klein) Pinter. She attended school at Wheatfield and graduated with the class of 1936. On August 9, 1937, she married Otto ‘Dutch’ V. Cavinder in LaPorte, In. Otto ‘Dutch’ and Elizabeth were blessed with two sons: Richard (Flora) Cavinder and Tom (Chris) Cavinder, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Otto ‘Dutch’, and 2 brothers: Carroll ‘Nip’ Pinter and Paul Pinter.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2009, at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Catholic Mass will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church in Wheatfield, with Father Paternoster officiating. Interment will take place at the Hebron Cemetery.
