Edna J. Cavinder

82 year old, Edna Cavinder, of Wheatfield, passed away October 20, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Edna was born on April 12, 1940, to Ben and Nancy (Risner) Hale, in Newland, Indiana. She married the love of her life, Richard Cavinder, on February 3, 2013, in Jasper County, Indiana. Edna was a 50+ year member at the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church of God who loved to garden, drink coffee, and visit with family.

Edna is survived by her husband: Richard, children: David Lee (Danelle) Cavinder, Shawn (Charlie) Riggle, Craig (Shannon) Cavinder, Teisha (Walt) Jungels, and Clinton (Rachael) Cavinder, 28 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Beverly Pullins, and Benny Hale.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Helen, Irene, Madeline, Virba, Bethel, Harris, Josephine, Myrtle, and Jimmy, and grandchildren: Forrest Jungels, and Taylor Cavinder.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church of God, Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Edna will take place at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church of God with Pastor Nathan Riggle officiating. Interment will follow at the Hebron Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church of God or to Haven Hospice.
