Edna Armstrong

Edna Mae (Hudak) Armstrong, 52, of Rensselaer, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at home surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Rensselaer on December 14, 1971, the daughter of Edna M. (Albright) and the late Michael D. Hudak. She graduated from Lowell High School Class of 1991. She enjoyed camping and spending time with family. Edna was a long-time server at Merchant's Restaurant in Morocco where she met Daniel Alan Armstrong. They were married on March 7, 2002 in Gatlinburg, TN.

Along with her mother and husband, surviving are two sons: Ryne Baugh and Daniel (Lillian Kornacki) Armstrong; step-daughter Ashley Weston; two granddaughters: Danielle and Zoey Weston; her much anticipated third grandchild due in September; one brother: Michael (Patricia) Hudak Jr.; two sisters: Tammy L. (Alan) Onder and Gloria R. Cornwell; brother-in-law: Paul (Toni) Armstrong and numerous nieces & nephews.

Edna was preceded in death by her father, and brother-in-law: Wayne Cornwell.

Visitation will be held at Boersma Funeral Home in Wheatfield on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. with funeral services immediately following with Kenny Oliver officiating. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Crockett Cemetery in Rensselaer.
