Edna C. Anderson

76 year old, Edna C. Anderson, of Winamac passed away May 11, 2018.

On April 14, 1942, Edna was born to Ruben and Virginia (Bailey) Patton in Kentucky. Edna was a homemaker, and worked as a factory worker. She loved sewing blankets, taking care of her flowerbeds and gardening. There was always a bloom in her yard.

Edna is survived by her children: Dennis Whitaker, Kelvin Whitaker, Michael Watson, and Matthew (Yvonne) Watson, 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings: Norman (Betty) Patton, Nancy (Bob) Ward, Linda (Bill) McCarty, Joyce Hansen, Melvine Grover, Charlene Patton, Judy Mehay, and James Arnett.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Sarah Hogan and brother: Larry Patton.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on May 16, 2018 from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the Goodway Baptist Church. Services for Edna will take place at the church on Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Rowe and Bishop Rick Helton officiating. Interment will follow at the Independence Cemetery.
