Diane Marie Dobson

84 year old, Diane M. Dobson, of DeMotte, passed away October 24, 2024, in DeMotte, Indiana at her home with loving family around her.

On March 12, 1940, in Carroll, Iowa, Diane was born to Clarence and Lillian (Scharnweber) Sampson. She graduated from high school. She married the love of her life, William A. Dobson, in Carroll, Iowa, on August 6, 1966. Diane was a PE teacher. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and being a skiing instructor. She especially enjoyed studying the word of God.

Diane is survived by her loving family, husband: William, children: Mark (Kim) Dobson, Catherine (Rick) DeFries, Maria (Jared) Slibeck, and 6 grandchildren.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, and brother: Wayne ‘Red’ Sampson.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the Calvary Assembly of God Church, DeMotte, Indiana. Services for Diane will take place following the wake at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor James Clark officiating.

Per Diane’s wishes cremation will follow.
