Denny Conley

94 year old, Denny Conley, of DeMotte, passed away August 2, 2024.

On October 12, 1929, Denny was born to Cevard and Cora (Smith) Conley in Kentucky. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Denny was a teacher/coach. He coached Little League for many years in DeMotte. Denny enjoyed golfing, baseball, tennis, and bowling. His passions were coaching and his family.

Denny is survived by his children: Sharon (Russell) Hochstedler, Connie (Lyle) Bollin, Ellen (Thomas) Lundy, Ben (Kelly) Conley, 16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren plus 1 on-the-way, and brother: Raymond (Mickey) Conley.

Denny was preceded in death by his wife: Josephine, parents, and siblings: Verna Snook, Vertis Noble, Ernie Conley, Herman Conley, Thurman Conley, Hurley & Burley Conley, Barbara Davis, Roby Conley, Pearly Timmons, Kearney Conley,

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Denny will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Weston Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
