David Anthony 'Tooters' Hendrix

54 year old, David Anthony ‘Tooters’ Hendrix, of Wheatfield, passed away, March 11, 2024 at his home.

On February 17, 1970, Tooters was born to David ‘Butch’ and Donna (Noble) Hendrix in Valparaiso, Indiana. Tooters graduated from Kankakee Valley High School, and then attended Vincennes University for Conservation Officer training. He was a member of Local Union #11. He liked motocross, fishing, hunting, working on anything with a motor, and tinkering. He was a member of Wheatfield’s Sons of the American Legion Post #406.

Tooters is survived by his family: parents: Butch and Donna Hendrix, children: Danielle (Nathan) Kolp, Trevor (Jill) Fase, Connor Hendrix, Courtney Arndt, Stormy (Tyson) Tiede, 5 grandchildren, and sister: Chantel (Jeff) Anderson.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Tooters will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday evening with Pastor Bill Taylor officiating.

Per Tooters’ wishes cremation will take place.
