Darrell Alexander

58 year old, Darrell D. Alexander, of Rensselaer, passed away April 17, 2024, at his home with his loving family around him.

On July 24, 1965, Darrell was born to George ‘Wayne’ and Evelyn (Wolford) Alexander in Rensselaer, Indiana. Darrell married the love of his life, Linda

‘Louise’ Hopkins on June 4, 1988, in Rensselaer, Indiana. Darrell was a welder. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed listening to music.

Darrell is survived by his wife: Linda ‘Louise’, children: Jason Lucas, Ashley (Levi) Johnson, Alyssa Alexander, 2 grandchildren, father: Wayne, and siblings: Gwynna Allman, Russell (Veronica) Alexander, Michelle Howes, and fur babies: Cocoa and Minnie.

Darrell was preceded in death by his mother: Evelyn Alexander and grandparents: Helen & James Mauck.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (EST-noon) on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Goodway Baptist Church. Services for Darrell will take place at the church at noon (EST-fast time) on Wednesday, with Rev. James Rowe officiating. Interment will follow at the Independence Cemetery.

Boersma Funeral Home, Wheatfield has been entrusted with these arrangements.
