Cynthia Westerhoff

65 year old, Cynthia C. Westerhoff, of DeMotte, passed away September 10, 2023, at her home with her loving family around her.

On July 13, 1958, Cynthia was born to Charles and Gloria (Snow) Wright in Gary, Indiana. She graduated from Crown Point High School. Cynthia married the love of her life, Allan Westerhoff, on May 26, 1990, in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Cynthia drove school bus from 1994 to 2014, for Hanover Central High School. She especially enjoyed the special needs children. She attended First Church, in Wheatfield, Indiana. Cynthia was a member of the Women’s Auxillary for the Cedar Lake Fire Department.

Cynthia is survived by her loving family: husband: Allan, children: Lori (Jim) Cornett, Carrie (Ryan) Courtney, Brian Westerhoff, Trina (Mike) Swart, Justin Titak, Julie Titak, and Jordan (Holly) Westerhoff, 10 grandchildren, and siblings: Charles ‘Larry’ Wright and Steve (Connie) Wright.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, and brother: Terry Wright.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Community Church of Roselawn, Indiana. Services for Cynthia will take place at the church at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening.

Graveside services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Holland Cemetery.
