Connie Jean Boersma

54 year old, Connie Jean Boersma, passed away on January 20, 2006, with her loving family at her side. Connie was born to Andrew & Ruth ( Williams ) Boersma on November 25, 1951, in Rensselaer, Indiana. She was a graduate of the Wheatfield High School. She worked for the North Newton School Corporation and as a greeter at the front door of the Boersma Funeral Home. Even after her diagnosis with cancer, if she felt well enough, you could always find her at the door to greet the families coming to pay their respects. Everyone will miss Connie’s smile.

Connie is survived by her parents, Andrew & Ruth Boersma; 1 sister, Shirley & Butch Marshall; 1 brother, Andrew R. & Diana Boersma; 1 niece, Heather Marshall; 2 nephews, Nicholas & Amanda Boersma, Keith Marshall. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Ray ( Maggie Hamstra ) Boersma and Ellison ( Vada Gulbransen ) Williams.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, January 23, 2006 from 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. (CST) at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E Grove St. Wheatfield. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. (CST) with Pastors Roger Sculley and Derrald Ailes officiating.

Interment will follow in the Wheatfield Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Wheatfield Food Pantry or the Wheatfield Chamber for Fun in the Park.
