Connie D. Black

54 year old, Connie D. Black, of Kniman passed away November 16, 2016, with her loving family around her at VNA Hospice Center, Valparaiso, Indiana.

On September 30, 1962, Connie was born to James and Phyllis (Herre) Black in Rensselaer, Indiana. Connie attended Kniman Elementary School, and Kankakee Valley High School. She also attended St. John’s Lutheran Church in Parr.

Connie is survived by her loving family: father: James Black, brother: Kevin Black and special friend Tanya Lubeznik, many cousins and other family members.

Connie was preceded in death by her mother: Phyllis and her Grandparents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Parr. Services for Connie will take place at the church at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 with Pastor David Mueller officiating. Interment will follow at St. John’s Church Cemetery in Parr.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
