81 year old, Claude Conley of Francesville, passed away July 2, 2017 at his home with his loving family around him.
Claude was born on October 14, 1935 in Elmrock, Kentucky, to Kelly and Arlie (Caskey) Conley. Claude served the U.S. Army as a Medic, and married the love of his life Glenda Pearl Osborn on July 30, 1957 in Denver, Colorado. Claude worked for McGill Bearing running the punch press and as a foreman at Monticello. He attended the Christian Church of Medaryville, enjoyed being part of the bowling league and golf league.
Claude is survived by his children: Beverly (Howard) Glovier, Phyllis Koebcke, Arthur (Susie) Conley, Anita (Bill) Dionne, Kelly Conley, Mike (Robin) Conley, Sarah (Pat) Williamson, James (Kristine) Conley, Claudia (Scott) Elston, Jessica (Rocky) Strange, 35 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings: Naomi DeMoss, Stella (John) Brownell, Loella DeBoard.
Claude was preceded in death by his loving wife: Glenda, infant brother: Okie Conley, and three sisters: Nadine Green, Julie Messer, Mary Jane Wynn.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Christian Church of Medaryville. Services for Claude will take place on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10:00 (EST) at the church with Pastor Don Nedz officiating. Interment will follow at White Post Cemetery with Military Graveside Services.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Christian Church of Medaryville.
