Clarence E. Misch

79 year old, Clarence E. Misch, of Wheatfield, passed away July 29, 2024.

On December 14, 1944, Clarence was born to Albert ‘Pete’ and Jessie (Cooper) Misch, in Rensselaer, Indiana. He graduated from Wheatfield High School, class of 1962. Clarence served in the Indiana National Guard. He married the love of his life, Shirley Myers, on April 15. 1967, at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church, Wheatfield, Indiana. Clarence worked for 7-up for 14 years, and then Swanel for 30+ years as a Service Technician. He was a member of the Men’s Holy Name Society, and the Wheatfield American Legion Post #406. Clarence enjoyed feeding his birds, helping whoever needed help, or whatever needed to be done. He liked to collect beer cans, fish, and spending time with his family.

Clarence is survived by his loving family, wife: Shirley, children: Kim (Kris) Rushmore, C. Scott (Sherry Ference) Misch, Kevin Misch, 9 grandchildren: Kole (Becky Stalbaum) Rushmore, Austyn Misch, Karly Rushmore, Brandyn (Lexi Madrigal) Misch, Masyn (Hayley Soltesz) Misch, Madisyn Misch, Trevor Misch, Kollin Rushmore, Connor Misch, 6 great-grandchildren: Jay & Madeline Rushmore, Jaxtyn, Camdyn & Makinley Misch, Mylah Misch, siblings: Don (Barbara) Misch, Mary (Phillip) Brown, and sister-in-law: Wilma Misch-Abbott.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Leo Misch, and sister: Doris Myers.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.

Services for Clarence will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church, Wheatfield, Indiana.
